The Rideau Canal
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal is one of the oldest continually operated canal systems in North America. This scenic passageway stretches from Kingston to Ottawa and attracts tourists and visitors both in summer and winter alike.

Wolfe Island, the largest of the thousand islands
The island as a whole (which has a giant corn maze in the fall!) but specifically "Big Sandy Bay" which is a rare coastal ecological gem in ontario . It features a beautiful secluded beach and natural sand dunes, as well as rare plants and birds, wetlands and woodlands.

marine museum of the great lakes (in kingston)
Along with housing the original pumping station and steam engines from 1891, the Museum has on display a wide ranging collection of marine artifacts and exhibits, a significant fine art collection, and is home to the Gordon C. Shaw Study Centre, and Audrey Rushbrook Memorial Library. Current exhibits highlight the growth of ship building and shipping technologies, the history of boat building, the life of the sailor, as well as regional Kingston's maritime history and our place on the Great Lakes. The recently opened Eco Gallery focuses on environmental issues/successes related to the Great Lakes.

Lake Superior Provincial Park
This large, rugged park sits on North America's largest Great Lake - near the home of the original inhabitants of the area, the Ojibwa, and now a major part of the Trans-Canada Highway (there called Highway 17). It is also an important area for shipping along the great lakes, which is an important part of international trade routes. It is also stunningly beautiful and largely untouched - like much of Canada's wilderness.

Fort George
Fort George is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. They have recreated the site to show what life would have been like during the 1800's, and have a number of buildings inside the fort walls that visitors can check out. Visitors can see how the soldiers and their families lived, what officer barracks looked like, and can climb up the watchtower. There are also demonstrations, including a musket show!

Tobermory
Tobermory is a small community located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula in the municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada. It is 300 km northwest of Toronto. The closest city to Tobermory is Owen Sound, 100 km south of Tobermory and connected by Highway 6.

Kensington Market
Kensington Market is a distinctive multicultural neighbourhood in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Market is an older neighbourhood and one of the city's most well-known. In November 2006, it was designated a National Historic Site of Canada. Robert Fulford wrote in 1999 that "Kensington today is as much a legend as a district. Queen's Park
Queen's Park is an urban park in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1860 by Edward, Prince of Wales, it was named in honour of Queen Victoria. The park is the site of the Ontario Legislative Building, which houses the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, and the phrase Queen's Park is regularly used as a metonym for the Government of Ontario.

Kiever Synagogue
The Kiever Synagogue is a Modern Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Toronto, Canada. It was founded by Jewish immigrants from the Ukraine in 1912, and formally incorporated in 1914. The congregants were poor working-people, and services were led by members and held in their homes. Two houses were eventually purchased in the Kensington Market area, and in their place construction was completed on the current twin-domed Byzantine Revival building in 1927. The building was once the site of George Taylor Denison's home Bellevue.
