    Is the feedback forum on a separate site? why can't I use my TIG account login to provide feedback?

  4. Immediately cancel Advertising Rights for "Congratulations-You've Won!"It is obnoxious, a total SCAM

    The flashing blue ad shouting "Congratulations You've won!"
    is an insult to anyone on the site. It should be banned from the internet. Yelling out loud, annoys the entire office, it's embarrassing to me and as a great organization, you should fire your ad manager--this is an outrage!!

  5. change the font and/or spacing

    There seems to be a lot of text on the homepage. In particular on the left-side column the spacing between the issues are very tight (looks cramped)

  6. an space in which i can send photos, videos, and info of my country

    i want to contribute to my country space, so i will be great if there´s a link in which i can upload photos, url, information, stories, and videos of my country

    Anything you submit to the TakingITGlobal site flagged with your Country will then appear on your Countries page automatically.

  7. Add More Job Opportunities and Scholarship

    There are very few opportunities and funds available. Please add some more by cooperate with other organizations.

  8. to have popular blogs and news instead of popular tags

    I think having popular TIG blogs, or best rated blogs or any other interesting content like Poems, Panorama articles or project pages would be more interesting that a list of popular tags. It is just a suggestion !

  9. change the way the spotlights appear

    It is hard at the moment to see the other spotlights as they are located at the top of main spotlight. They would be better embedded below, I feel.

    It should say which language it is when you log in. Very similar to Flickr.com but still would be a small language educational step.

  11. Put in skip navigation anchor for ppl with disabilities

    if you're visually impaired you'll probably use a screen reader to read the page to you. The reader will start at the top and work its way down the page and it will read each and every link for each page you visit so for every page on your site it will read each link in the navigation menu at the top
    ie. almost 50 links before you even know what the page is about!

  12. Confused to get Pioneer Badge. How to get it?

  14. Automatically import blog posts from Wordpress

    Much easier than having to write a WP blog than come over here and write another one, or copy and paste.

    Facebook allows it through the importing of notes. TIG should be able to do it too.

  15. review the content before puuting it on the home page

    I was shocked to see links to porn sites coming to the home page in the form of recent discussion threads today (19.April.2010). Some filter could have stopped it from getting it on the home page.

  17. fix the region search process

    It takes many pages to find a city within a country within a region. I see two possible ways to fix it:

    1) When you are choose a region, have the website automatically choose countries, provinces, cities etc. ONLY within that region. As it is, even though I've already selected North America, Canada, Ontario, I must still choose Toronto out of a list of all cities named Toronto in the world.

    2) Enable a quick search (perhaps using user IP/location information to guide the search).

    Thanks for this feedback! We’ve revised the way the site works to implement your suggestion #1 – so when you select a state/city now from a country/state/province site, it won’t ask you to choose it from within the others named the same way.

  18. AJAX News Feeds to allow "next 5" and faster loading

    This will help the page load faster, and allow members to view an infinite number of "previous" news feed items!

  19. dropdown links in header should be buttons not hypertext

    the list of links that appear when I hover over "community" "action tools" "resources" etc are currently only hyperlinks - meaning I have to click exactly on the text to activate the link. You should make the entire box surrounding each word into a link - like a big button - to make it easier to use.

  20. adding persian language option for brothers and sisters in Iran.

    TIG needs to represent the languages that are important. Persian is spoken in several countries in addition to Iran, Please add the option for Persian language.
